One of the downside to ICS is the lack of promotional banners to aid us in getting referrals. What I do instead, is write a post or tutorial about ICS and put in my referral link within the article. You can also try advertising your link in Facebook and Twitter. But from my experience, you can still earn a substantial amount in a week with just minimal time and effort invested.
How much can you earn if you do not refer other people?

Atleast I win something every 3 hours with this, whereas in SwagBucks I sometimes it takes me hours to win after searching countless times.

without referrals, you make less than 10 cents a day, not really worth it.
